Psychedelic Professionals Meet: DENVER

Psychedelic Professionals Meetup Groups are happening! Let's keep Colorado on the leading edge of psychedelic medicine work by coming together in community to learn, share, and grow. Each Psychedelic Professionals Meetup Group starts with an informative topic relevant to research, practice, policy, or activism around psychedelic medicines, followed by open discussion and an opportunity to connect with like-minded others.

Join us the first Thursday of each month in Denver at Beacon RiNo at 6:30pm! Most months we'll start at 6:30pm with education and discussion with a speaker or panel. By 7:30pm we'll move to networking and socializing on the back patio (during the nice weather months). Note that we will have (at least some) chairs for seating for the educational portion of the evening :) Join us for all or part of these special monthly events!

For August, we are excited to be joined by Aaron Orsini, author of Autism on Acid! Aaron is an autistic psychedelic educator, author and researcher. He has published four books about his area of focus — Autism On Acid (2019), Autistic Psychedelic (2021), Introduction to Psychedelic Autism (2022), and Psychedelic Autism (2023) — and presently serves as a psychedelic autism research co-author collaborator to University College London and an advisor to an ADAPT drug education study funded by Organization for Autism Research. Aaron is also a lecturer on psilocybin facilitation for Alma Institute and SoundMind Institute in Oregon, Naropa University in Colorado, and the lead instructor for his first-of-kind facilitation-focused intensive offered via AutisticPsychedelic.com. Aaron also recently launched a broader umbrella site, NDpsychedelic.com, focused on connecting neurodivergent individuals to service providers who understand their lived experience.

AutisticPsychedelic.com is a collaborative peer support, advocacy, education & research-focused networking platform for autistic individuals as well as the friends, family, and professionals who seek to support autistic individuals in various psychedelic contexts. Founded in 2020, this global community offers online support meetings, resource libraries, monitored chat forums, podcasts, video presentations, and immersive online learning opportunities, including the first-of-its-kind “Introduction to Psychedelic Autism” course designed with therapists and facilitators in mind.
