About the event
Psychedelic Professionals Meetup Groups are happening! Let's keep Colorado on the leading edge of psychedelic medicine work by coming together in community to learn, share, and grow. Each Psychedelic Professionals Meetup Group starts with an informative topic relevant to research, practice, policy, or activism around psychedelic medicines, followed by open discussion and an opportunity to connect with like-minded others.
Welcome to 2022! We are taking January off to do some strategic organizing, and are getting started with our monthly meetups in Denver starting in February.
To kick off the New Year, we are excited to welcome Sabrina Santa Clara from the Center for Embodied Spirituality. In this Nowak Society talk, Sabrina will share with us about Self Psychedelic Integration -- a model that is rooted in embodiment, Internal Family Systems, the creative and expressive arts, and neoshamanistic ritual. While the model can be used by mental health workers, not everyone can afford, nor wants to, hire a psychedelic integration guide. This model is specifically designed for the individual journeyer to prepare for and integrate their psychedelic experiences on their own or within a community of peers.
